Step-by-step guide of how to transfer music from computer to iPod.

Step 1:

Free download iCoolsoft iPod Transfer and install it in your computer. Launch it after the installation. Connect your iPod to your computer via USB cable.

Step 2:

Select "Music" in the left list, then click  to open the convert and import window. Click "Add File" or "Load DVD" button to add the files you want to import.

Step 3:

Select Audio track and subtitle. Set the output parameters, including Video Encoder, Video Resolution, Video Frame Rate, Video Bitrate, Audio Encoder, Audio Sample Rate, Audio Channels, and Audio Bitrate, by clicking button "Settings".

You can skip this step if you have no special needs.

Step 4:

If the added files are compatible with your iPod, you can directly click button to import those files.

If the added files are not compatible with your iPod, you need to convert them to proper format first. Select the output format from the drop-down list of "Profile". Check "Convert files before importing", then click "Import" button. The conversion will be finished within a short while and the converted files will be imported to your iPod automatically.
