How to Convert MOD to MPEG/MPG?

MOD is a standard definition video recording format used by JVC, Panasonic and Canon in some models of digital camcorders. MOD is file-based format that is stored on a random-access media. Directory structure and naming convention are identical except for extensions of media files. Standard definition video is stored in MPEG program stream container files with MOD extension; in most other systems these files have extension MPG or MPEG.

Therefore, sometimes, we don't have to convert MOD video into MPEG/MPG format if we only want to play back the MOD video on our computers. Simply renaming the video will do that. However, if we have to play back MOD video on other portable media players or edit the original MOD video, we have to use MOD to MPEG/MPG Converter to convert MOD video files.
