How to Convert FLV to MPEG Format?

 

FLV is a popular video format which has been accepted by many online video-sharing websites as default video format. However, not all of the media players support FLV format. So if we want to play back a downloaded FLV video, we have to convert it to other video format firstly. Here we will talk about how to convert FLV to MPEG format.

 

In order to convert FLV to MPEG format, we need, first of all, install in our computer a FLV to MPEG Converter. You can free download one from here:

Step 1: Click "Add Video" button to import the FLV video files you want to convert. You can also use the "File" menu to import files.

Tip: You can preview the FLV video in the preview pane and take snapshot of the scenes you like the most.

 

 

Step 2: Open "Profile" drop-down list and choose MPEG format as the output format.

Click "Browse" button to set output path.

 

 

 

Step 3: Select a FLV video and use "Effect, Trim, Crop" buttons on the tool bar to edit it as you like.

 

 

Tip:

If you want to merge several clips into one file to output, you can select the files from the file list and then click button "Merge". The merged file will be automatically named as "Merge" and listed below.
